Berry College Ford Auditorium Remodel

The historic Ford Auditorium at Berry College in Northwest Georgia underwent a 5,685-square-foot transformation, creating an inspiring space for artists and audiences alike. The design required all trim below the ceiling to match the existing wood on the balcony. When the original wood was no longer available, Socium partnered with the General Contractor to create a custom two-coat “Ford Balcony Stain Match,” ensuring a flawless finish.
The renovation’s highlight is the vaulted tongue-and-groove ceiling, which Socium hand-stained with precision. This exceptional project received international recognition, earning a spot in the Architecture MasterPrize 2020 Architectural Design competition in the Restoration and Renovation category.
