Socium Coatings provided interior and exterior painting, sealed concrete, and wallcovering services for the new Brookhaven City Hall & Parking Deck, an 85,280 SF facility designed to serve as a civic centerpiece for the City of Brookhaven.

The project includes five occupiable levels: a garage level, three mixed-use floors, and a rooftop terrace. These spaces house offices, City Council chambers, a multipurpose room, support areas, and a striking three-story atrium that welcomes the public into a light-filled, modern environment. The building’s structure combines mass timber and steel, supporting both sustainability and visual distinction.

This project holds special significance as Georgia’s first public mass timber building, showcasing environmentally responsible design through the use of sustainable wood that reduces the carbon footprint while creating a warm, contemporary aesthetic.

Throughout construction, Socium’s team demonstrated problem-solving and adaptability, responding quickly to unforeseen challenges to keep the project on schedule and aligned with the city’s evolving requirements. Our craftsmanship helped highlight the building’s innovative design while ensuring a durable, high-quality finish inside and out.
