Socium Coatings provided high-performance coating services for the Grant Park Gateway Parking Deck, a 1,000-car parking facility serving the Atlanta Zoo. Our scope included the application of high-performance coatings to the exterior façade support steel, with a focus on long-term durability and protection. These coatings were selected to support the structural steel’s performance while complementing the architectural vision of the facility.
The project presented operational challenges, including a tight construction schedule and limited work hours during the cold winter months. Working alongside Winter Construction and Smith Dalia Architects, our team adapted to changing conditions and maintained progress through flexibility, coordination, and a commitment to being a reliable project partner.
