Socium executed the painting and high-performance coating applications for Turner Construction at the new healthcare facility located within Zoo Atlanta. The Rollins Animal Health Center is equipped with specialized areas including a laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, treatment, and surgical rooms; a CT scanner; both interior and exterior animal holding areas along with a food preparation kitchen; five quarantine spaces for animals that allow access for dedicated care team members and specific food preparation zones; as well as office and conference facilities for the veterinary staff. Additionally, the center will feature a necropsy suite. The second floor will house two dormitory rooms, restrooms, and laboratory workspaces to accommodate veterinary team members who may need to stay overnight or host visiting colleagues or students.
